I am posting this short missive as a contrast to three fairly long blogs I am posting in the next few days to let off some steam.
Earlier this year, I had reason to travel to Malaysia and our company “Travel Coordinator” assured me that I did not need a visa to enter the country. I was not 100% convinced and I flew out to Kuala Lumpur with some trepidation.
Upon arrival at KL, I walked to one of the many immigration counters and was processed inside 1 minute, yes ONE minute! I walked through almost dazed by the fact that I had to answer none of the mundane questions like: “ where are you staying?” or “how long are you staying?” or “ what is the purpose of your visit?” Nothing, absolutely nothing!
