– Excuse me, can I ask you one question?
– You already have
– When?
– Just now and you have asked another question
– Did I?
– Yes
– Can I ask you two more questions then?
– That makes four so far, go ahead
– Yes, now for my fifth and last question: would you be interested in…
I enjoyed that exchange and I liked her for getting the joke. I wish all shop assistants were like her, it might encourage me to buy morning mist moisturiser or anti-aging skin cream, or even hair conditioner for the hair I no longer have.
